McTeacher's Night
McDonald’s® restaurants throughout the tri-state area are proud to support McTeacher’s Night to help raise money for elementary schools across the region. A joint project of all local McDonald’s restaurants, McTeacher’s Night sees principals, teachers and counselors working at their neighborhood McDonald’s restaurants by greeting customers, taking meal orders, pouring drinks and serving America’s favorite French fries.
Students and their parents line up to catch a glimpse of their favorite educators serving up Premium Chicken Sandwiches, Premium Salads, Happy Meals®, Premium Roast Coffee and other great McDonald’s menu items. In exchange, local McDonald’s Owner/Operators donate a portion of the store’s sales for the evening to the school.
'All of us in the McDonald’s family are thrilled and proud to support McTeacher’s Night for our local schools,' said Dan Delligatti, president of the local consortium of McDonald’s Owner/Operators. 'It’s a great fundraising opportunity, and kids love the chance to give orders to their teachers for a change.'
Participating schools use the money raised for various projects like buying new library books and sporting equipment, updating computer equipment and conducting field trips. Because McDonald’s allows schools to determine how the funds are spent, the project ideas are limitless.
If your school is interested in participating in future McTeacher’s Night events, please send your name, school name, school address and telephone number to mcteachers@tam.mcdtoday.com.
